中美法律与商业研究会是由北京大学法学院与凯斯西储大学法学院2012年共同成立的非赢利研究机构。
中美法律与商业研究会是研究中美关系大事件的多边论坛,将定期邀请中美双方政界,商界以及民间团体的杰出人士参与研讨,并出版相关的学术出版物。研究会还将为北京大学法学院与凯斯西储大学法学院的师生交换搭建平台。
The Sino-American Law & Commerce Institute (SALCI or the Institute) is a bi-national, not-for-profit, multi-disciplinary entity founded jointly in 2012 and operated by Peking University Law School, Beijing, China, and Case Western Reserve University School of Law, Cleveland, Ohio, U.S.A. Peking University Law School and Case Western Reserve University School of Law jointly own the Institute and all its properties.
The Institute is a multi-disciplinary forum for examination of issues affecting the Chinese and United States relationship. It encourages participation in its activities by its Members, by governments of the two countries and their provinces and states, businesses, lawyers, economists, academics, non-governmental organizations and the media interested in those issues. It is not related, formally or otherwise, to any government. In addition to organizing conferences and seminars, it publishes journals and affords comparative law and research opportunities and teaching and study exchanges by its Members at Peking University Law School and Case Western Reserve University School of Law.
